Hear from local startup legends Elite Robotics, and how they're navigating the path from UON Graduates to breaking into the advanced manufacturing industry.

Speaker Profiles:

Luke De Bono is the Chief Design Officer at Elite Robotics and has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design. Luke will talk about the process in building a company’s brand and how it can be a powerful tool for startups to gain early traction. He will also discuss the importance of being able to design and build a product people want and how this is applied at Elite Robotics.

Nathan Bartlett is the CTO of Elite Robotics with a background in Mechatronics Engineering. He is also currently pursuing a PhD in simultaneous localization and mapping for autonomous vehicles. Nathan shall talk briefly about his PhD topic, in conjunction with the practical considerations one must be aware of when designing an autonomous system. Finally, he will discuss the vast array of opportunities Elite Robotics has created that one cannot find in a large corporation.

Sahil Harriram is a Graduate Mechatronics Engineer, specialising in embedded system design for autonomous vehicles. He is also the CEO of Elite Robotics. Sahil will talk about his transition from university to startup founder and provide you with some of the crucial lessons he has learnt about networking, leadership and team management that has led to the early successes of Elite Robotics.
